ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hoh Kim's artistic practice is deeply intertwined with his work as an executive coach, where he has spent over two decades helping leaders find clarity through insightful questions. This keen observation of the human condition informs his art, which utilizes handcrafted wooden objects – born from extensive woodworking training across Korea, the U.K., and the U.S. – as elements in his self-portraits. He explores the multifaceted nature of the psychological adult, employing diverse media. His solo exhibitions, "Adult" (Gallery IN HQ, Seoul, 2023) and "Obituary" (Gallery Gongganare, Seoul, 2024), showcase this unique approach. Kim is also a prolific author and translator of over ten books. Artist contact: hoh.kim@thelabh.com
